Alumni Plaza Ground Breaking Construction has begun on the Marquette Catholic Alumni Plaza! Barricades were recently set up blocking traffic on Easton Street as Alton street crews started demolition. The goal is to finish Alumni Plaza in time for start of the 2019-2020 school year.
Bower and McCluskey Head to State Tournament Victory at the Triad Class 1A Sectional Tournament secures a trip to Chicago for MCHS's #1 Doubles team. Marquette ended the season with a 3rd place team victory the Traid Sectionals. The IHSA State tournament begins May 23rd in Chicago.

GIRLS TRACK: Sectional Win! This year's girls track team is the first to cross the Sectional Finish Line for MCHS and the first Riverbend team to win sectionals since 1993. The Explorers qualified for 9 events in the Illinois State Meet and finished with 83 points in the Carlinville Class 1A Sectional Meet.
Boys JV Volleyball Earns Varsity Status in 2020 The Explorers have added another varsity sport to the list. The 12 man JV boys volleyball team has proven that hard work and determination pays off. Congratulation on your inaugural season!
Hitting Cancer Out of the Ballpark The MCHS softball team took another swing at fighting childhood cancer. This is the 2nd year the team has traveled to Peoria over prom weekend to participate in the "Hits for a Cure" fundraiser for St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research. WYSE Winners Congrats to the entire MCHS World Wide Youth Science and Engineering (WYSE) team who competed at the State competition at Eastern Illinois. Special Congratulations to Frankie Grabowski and Grace Yost and their impressive achievement of 3rd and 4th place State metals in Biology!
