With two State Championships and a second-place finish in the last 9 years, Marquette Catholic's successful boys soccer program is looking for our next head coach to lead this great program. Applications being accepted now.

Congratulations to Coach Mark Jones and his team on a great season. The Explorer bowling program made its debut 4 years ago and continues to grow and improve.

Sophomore, Adrenna Snipes hit a career milestone at Tuesday night's game against MELHS. The game was stopped as teammates, family, and friends erupted into cheers to acknowledge her achievement.

New AD Announced

Congratulations to Brian Hoener, who was named Director of Athletics for Marquette Catholic. Mr. Hoener comes to MCHS from Fontbonne University, where he is currently the Assistant Director. He will begin his full-time duties at MCHS on July 1st.

Players of the Year

Join us in congratulating Aaron Boulch, Riley Vickrey, William Roderfeld, and Gracie Piar on being chosen as Advantage News Players of the Year. Additionally, Girls Golf Coach Deb Walsh, Boys Golf Coach Ryan Geisler and Boys Soccer Coach Tim Gould were named Coaches of the Year.

Run Riley Run

The Cross Country team was all in attendance to watch senior, Riley Vickrey, sign her Letter of Intent to Missouri Southern State University. Congratulations to Riley on becoming a Lion!

2019-20 National Honor Society

Congratulation to this year's newest members of the MCHS National Honor Society. To be nominated to NHS the students must maintain a 3.8 GPA and exemplify the organizations four principles: character, scholarship, leadership & service.

Prayers for Vandalia

The Marquette student body, administration, faculty and staff send their condolences to the Vandalia community. After a moment of silence the students said a prayer for the Protz and Lidy families.
