Senior Karly Davenport is the daughter of Nicholas and Michelle Davenport of Brighton, and was selected Rotary Student of the Month based on her record of academic excellence and commitment to Marquette Catholic and the community.
Davenport maintains a 4.68 weighted GPA and has been on the High Honor Roll every semester. An Honors student, Karly has excelled in AP courses, earning recognition as an AP Scholar for outstanding performance on numerous AP exams.
Karly fully embraces the Marquette Serviam tradition having completed well over 100 community service hours, in addition to serving in several leadership roles such as Vice President of the National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council Senior Class President, and President of the Breast Cancer Awareness Club.
As a student-athlete, she has competed on the varsity volleyball team for four years and is entering her fourth season of track and field, where she has qualified for the IHSA State Finals three times.
Following graduation, Karly plans to pursue her academic goals at either Washington University in St. Louis or the University of Michigan, with the intention of majoring in pre-medicine or biomedical science. On Explorers!
