Jack Beaber was selected for his accomplishments on the Explorers football team. A two way starter who has helped the Explorers to a 5-3 record, Beaber has established himself as one of the leading defensive players in the region. He often leads the Explorers in solo tackles and quarterback sacks. He has been a member of the football team for four years, in addition to qualifying for the IHSA State Track finals as a thrower. Jack is the son of Michael and Allyson Beaber.
Maggie Pruetzel was selected based on her accomplishments on the Explorers Golf team, including her individual qualification for the recent IHSA State Finals. Maggie qualified for State by firing a 5 over 77 in the Jacksonville Sectional, where she finished third. Pruetzel won several individual matches this year, including earning medalist honors as the top freshman at the Gary Bair Invitational. is the daughter of Randy and Amy Pruetzel of Alton.
