2019-20 National Honor Society Congratulation to this year's newest members of the MCHS National Honor Society. To be nominated to NHS the students must maintain a 3.8 GPA and exemplify the organizations four principles: character, scholarship, leadership & service.
Prayers for Vandalia The Marquette student body, administration, faculty and staff send their condolences to the Vandalia community. After a moment of silence the students said a prayer for the Protz and Lidy families.

20 Win Season! The 2019 came to an end Tuesday night in the semi finals to Columbia. Varsity finished 20-13 and won the Prairie State Conference. Congratulations Coaches and Players on a fantastic season!
Boys Soccer Head to State A 2-1 victory against Columbia sends the Explorers to the State semi-finals. Game time is 7pm Friday, November 1 at the Eastside Centre located at 1 Eastside Dr, East Peoria, IL 61611. The Explorers are slated to play Quincy Notre Dame.
Explorers Advance to Sectional Finals A 4-0 Sectional victory against the Sacred Heart Griffins secures a spot for the boys soccer team in the Sectional finals. The Explorers take on Riverton Hawks Friday (6pm) at Sacred Heart Griffin located at 1200 West Washington Street in Springfield.
MCHS Girls Golf Head to State for the 2nd Year in a Row “It is, honestly, unbelievable,” said Kratschmer, who shot 87 in her first round at state last season... “ I don’t have another word to describe it other than incredible.”
Prairie State Conference Champs! The regular season comes to a close with a championship plaque and three golfers advancing to the sectional tournament on October 14th.
Homecoming 2019 is a Wrap What a week! In just a few days the Marquette students have decorated the halls, cheered for their fellow Explorers, dressed up in goofy costumes and then pulled out all the stops with their outfits for the Saturday night's Homecoming Dance.
Riley Vickrey Verbally Commits Senior, Riley Vickrey announced she has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career. Next fall, Riley will run as a Southern Missouri State University Lion.
