The Marquette Catholic Athletic Office is excited to announce that Cody Best and Whitney Sykes-Rogers will take over the reigns as head boys and girls basketball, respectively. On Explorers!

At five-over par and a six-stroke lead, 2022 MCHS graduate, Gracie Piar, is the 30th Metropolitan Women’s Amateur Champion. Sporadic showers and sprinkles dampened the final round. When asked about how the rain factored in to her round, Piar said "I actually prefer playing in the rain because not a lot of people can do it, and I can, so it's an advantage."

During Coach Greg DeCourcey 33 years of coaching, he guided the Explorers to 2 IHSA State Championships, one 2nd place finish, 15 Regional & 7 Sectional Championships, and 7 Elite 8 appearances. We congratulate you and thank you for your dedication to our student-athletes!

Congratulations to Coach Tim Turnbeaugh and the girls track team. Ava Certa, Paige Rister, Katie Johnson, Kailey Vickrey, and Samantha Hentrich qualified individually to advance to the IHSA state track meet. The meet will be held in O'Brien Stadium at Eastern Illinois University on May 20 & 21.

Marquette girls soccer secures their 12th Regional Championship title on Friday, May 13. The Explorers finished their regular season with a record of 13-6-3. The Explorers will move on to face Sacred Heart-Griffin in the Sectional Semifinals on Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at Quincy Notre Dame.

We are proud to announce the Class of 2022 completed a grand total is 14,737 service hours and have been offered $9,928,673 in scholarships. Congratulations! We wish you the best and welcome you into the Marquette Catholic alumni family.

The annual End of School Picnic was held for the first time in two years. Students, faculty, and volunteers enjoyed many indoor and outdoor activities. Memories for a lifetime!

Congratulations to the ACES Academic Challenge Team on their success at this year's state meet. Academic Challenge (formerly, WYSE) is a test-based competition for high school students bridging the gap between secondary and college-level academics.
