Sharon Dugas was chosen for her outstanding academic achievements which include a 4.52 GPA, ACT of 29, and 34 college dual-credit hours. A four year member of the High Honor Roll, Sharon has challenged herself by taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Government, Physics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Chemistry.
Dugas has been a four-year member on the Marquette Catholic Girls Volleyball team, and recently was selected by the coaching staff to receive the team's Sportsmanship Award. She has been President of the Interact Club, a member of Student Council, National Honor Society (NHS), Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Club, and has more than 100 community service hours.
She is the daughter of Patrick and Laura Dugas, and attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Alton. Sharon is interested in attending Purdue, Missouri S&T, or the University of Alabama to major in Mechanical Engineering.
