STL Today: All-Decade Teams Announced

F: Aaron Boulch, Alton Marquette

Graduation year: 2020

A two-time all-metro selection as both a sophomore and a senior, Boulch had a prolific career for the Explorers. In his final season last fall, Boulch scored 21 goals and added 16 assists. He also amassed 20 goals and added 14 assists in 2017 as Alton Marquette won the Class 1A state title. Boulch finished his prep career with 60 goals and 49 assists. He will play at UMSL next fall.

The Post-Dispatch All-Decade series kicks off with boys soccer. Decisions were based on high school performances between the 2010 and 2019 seasons. Click here to see the full article on STL Today.

Aaron served as a team captain and was named a Riverbender.com player of the month in September 2019. “I enjoy the feeling of scoring a goal or setting someone else up to score,” Boulch said. “I love the feeling I get when I’m playing, and I love running and having the ball at my feet.”

Boulch credits his family and friends for the success he’s had in soccer.

“I would like to thank all of my family and friends, who have always pushed me to do better, and help me achieve my goals,” Boulch said.

He feels that being involved in soccer and high school sports have helped Boulch develop into the person he has become by getting to know new people, learning how to play with them and become friends with others.
