Ice Skating at East Alton Ice Arena. Students will be dismissed from MCHS after 7th period. The ice arena is available from 1-3 PM. There is no charge for admission or skate rental. A permission slip must be on file with the school office by January 25th in order for a student to be able to leave campus or acquire skates at the arena.
Students may wear Spirit Day attire & jeans/sweatpants to school. Students should also wear/bring thick socks. Students may bring skates from home. Students can bring a sack lunch that day or purchase food from the vending machine at MCHS. Restaurant food may NOT be brought into the ice arena: however, the concession stand at the ice arena will be open.
Students who ride the Marquette buses to school will be transported to the ice arena. Any other student needing a ride must sign up in the main office before Thursday. Dismissal will be from the arena unless the student rides the bus back to Marquette.
