Math
All math classes will be using My Math Lab
Algebra 1
The Algebra 1 curriculum includes solving both linear and quadratic equations as well as solving inequalities and systems of equations. Students will be introduced to functions and their graphs. In addition, students will work the monomials, polynomials, exponents, and both radical and rational expressions. The curriculum will also include an introduction to data analysis and probability.
(Full year course–1.0 credit)
Business Calculus
Freshman Honors Algebra 2
Algebra 2
Algebra 2 is a continuation of the theory and application of algebraic concepts. Topics include conic sections, radicals and variation.
(Full year course–1.0 credit)
Geometry
The Geometry course includes an in-depth analysis of plane, solid, and coordinate geometry as they relate to both abstract mathematical concepts as well as real-world problem situations. Topics include logic and proof, parallel lines and polygons, perimeter and area analysis, volume and surface area analysis, similarity and congruence, and trigonometry. Students will be required to use different technological tools and manipulative to discover and explain much of the course content.
(Full year course–1.0 credit)
PreCalculus
Analytical Geometry is an in-depth course relating concepts from algebra and geometry. It serves as a preparation for college math, especially calculus. Trigonometry is a course exploring the relationships of the parts of triangles. The transcendental functions, logarithmic and exponential are covered in detail. The course also includes an introduction to vectors, sequences and series, and probability.

College Algebra-Dual Credit with LCCC 4 credit hours
Trigonometry-Dual Credit with LCCC 3 credit hours
Presents trigonometric functions, there right triangle, fundamental identities, angular measure, variation and graphs of the trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, inverse trigonometric functions, and complex numbers.
Prerequisite College Algebra.
(Semester course-.5 credit)
AP Calculus-Dual Credit with LCCC 5 credit hours
This is an in depth course relating concepts from Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Analytic Geometry. In Calculus, the student studies the basic concepts and some applications of the principles of differentiation and integration preparing the student for the AP Exam in May. (Required: calculator is the TI-NSPIRE CAS.)
