Norma Bellcoff - Norma is a MCHS graduate from the Class of 1983. She is currently a Vice President of the Trust Department at the Bank of Edwardsville where she specializes in Personal Trust Administration, Asset Management and Business Development. Norma earned her B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Duquesne University and is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School I and II. Norma serves on many boards including, Southwestern Illinois College Foundation Board, the John N. and Diana N. Bellcoff Memorial Tamburitzan Scholarship Advisory Board benefiting Southwestern Illinois College, Lynne F. Solon Foundation Board, Southwestern Illinois Division Auxiliary Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater St. Louis. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis and United Way Allocations Panel Member Chair. Norma is also active in various community organizations which include Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Relay for Life, Special Olympics, Horizon of Hope and Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Dr. Linda Chapman - Vice President of Academic Affairs, Lewis and Clark Community College. Dr. Chapman received her Ed.D. in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from Harvard University. She is currently the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Lewis and Clark Community College where she has worked for 27 years, planning and managing curriculum, instruction and instructional technology, conducting learning assessment, managing grant projects, and developing and managing learning support services.
She has worked as a community college administrator in Michigan and New York community colleges and has held research positions with The College Board, Educational Testing Service, Harvard University, and the Carnegie and Ford Foundations. She serves as a peer evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission and on several committees with the Illinois Community College Board.
Locally, Linda has been on such Boards or committees serving the missions of the Oasis Women’s Center, AAUW, the Lovejoy Memorial Foundation, and the Alton Community School District Athletic Association. She is a past chair of the local United Way where she has served on the Campaign Steering Committee, the Executive Committee, and as a member of the Illinois United Way Executive Committee. Linda is a member of the Alton Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, the Marquette Catholic High School Foundation Board and the SIUE STEM Center External Advisory Council. She received the first-ever Greenville College Partner’s Award, a YWCA Women of Distinction Award, a Community Service Award from the Madison County Urban League, an Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award from the Illinois Community College Board, an NAACP Educational Service Award, an Athena Award, the Coalition of Concerned Citizens of Alton Chairman’s Award and the Illinois Education Research Council Service Award.
Dean Heneghan - MCHS Class of 1975. Dean is a 1980 graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In 1986 he founded Heneghan & Associates, which he led as President and CEO until semi-retirement in 2013. He and his wife Rita are the proud parents of Marquette graduates Brad (2000), Brian (2003), Doug (2006), Bernadette (2009) and current MCHS student Anthony (2017). I graduated with a BS in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1980.
Brad 2000, Brian 2003, Doug 2006, Bernadette 2009 and Anthony 2017. He is an active member of the boards of Jersey Community Hospital, St. Francis Cemetery and Quail Forever. In his free time Dean enjoys golfing and hunting.
Mark Kratschmer - Mark is Vice President of Wegman Electric. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Accounting and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and Missouri. He and his wife, Mary Jo, live in Godfrey and have two sons, Ted and Chris, both graduates of MCHS and the University of Notre Dame.
Deacon Willam Kessler - Deacon Kessler is a former MCHS School Board President and all eight of his children are graduates of Marquette. He currently serves as the Deacon of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey, IL. Prior to joining the Diocese of Springfield diocanate program in 2007 Kessler served 35 years as an administrator/CEO for Alton's Saint Anthony's Health Center, where he was the first layperson to lead the hospital.
Jeff Roberts - Jeff is a 1978 graduate of Marquette, 1982 graduate of Illinois College and a graduate of the University of Illinois Law School. Jeff became a CPA while still in college, before attending law school. He is a former partner of Farrell and Long, PC and was the General Counsel of first casino gaming boat in Illinois, the Alton Belle Casino, which later grew into the current Argosy Gaming Company with 4,000 employees, where Jeff served on the Executive team. Jeff currently runs his own law practice, Roberts Law, in Jerseyville, IL.
Michael Stephan - Mike is a 1980 graduate of Marquette Catholic and a 1984 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. After graduating from Notre Dame, he worked as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers for 13 years, then at Cigna, as the Vice President of Global External Reporting at American Express, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Fortune 500 Company AutoNation and currently as Controller and Vice President of US Anesthesia Partners in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Peter Tassinari - MCHS 1984, University of Missouri (BSBA) 1988, St. Louis University (MBA) 1995. Peter has worked in the financial services industry for 21 years and currently is a Finacial Advisory at Wells Fargo in St. Louis, MO. He is currently a Hayner Library Board Trustee and previously served on the St. Ambrose Catholic School Finance Committee. He is married to 1984 MCHS graduate Ellen Ducey Tassinari, University of Missouri BSEd, 1988. They are the proud parents of 2011 MCHS Graduate Sarah, who is a 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri (BSHS) and currently attending Bellarmine University Physical Therapy Program, and current MCHS student Anne (2017). Peter enjoys spending time with his family and has competed in triathlons in Chicago, Kirkwood (MO) and Wood River (IL).
Dwight Werts - Dwight is the CEO and President of Werts Welding & Tank Service, Inc. He graduated from Lewis and Clark and serves as a director for several area organizations. He and his wife, Cheryl, live in Godfrey and have two children.
