Marquette Catholic High School has served as one of the cornerstones of education in the Riverbend community for over 80 years. As the campus has gracefully aged there have been 2 expansions and numerous improvements. The current students bear the responsibility for paying the annual cost of education; however our building and grounds have been maintained through the generous gifts from alumni and our community’s leaders.
Marquette's first capital campaign in 30 years already has established a $250,000 addition to the school's endowment fund and purchased whiteboards for every classroom, as well as Smartboards, computer network upgrades, all new desks and lockers, a new security system, a better emergency exit and connecting hallway between the 1927 and 1982 buildings, electrical upgrades, painting of the exterior trim and tuck-pointing, and sealing of all exterior surfaces and new windows for the 1958 building, to be installed this spring.
The 1958 windows are slated to be replaced with new, energy-efficient windows with a dark tint to keep the sun from affecting sporting activities in the gymnasium.
