My name is Meg Ducey Miller and it has been my pleasure to be a part of Marquette as a student with my graduating class of 1980 and as a parent with my three children attending school here. I have also had the privilege of working in the Advancement Office for the last 13 years. Great things are happening at Marquette and I invite you and your family to be a part of it! I am happy you are interested in the Admissions process and want to help you get to know us as we get to know you and your student.
If you are planning for your freshman year, please see the information below and contact me with any questions. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping
you become a Marquette Explorer.
If you are an upperclassmen and would like to visit Marquette for a possible transfer, please call me and we can make a plan of action. 618-463-0585 ext. 2 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Our OPEN HOUSE for this year is Sunday Oct. 23, 2016 from 1-3. Please come and see why our students score so well on the AP and ACT tests. Come meet the teachers and the students and join our family.
Freshman students seeking to enroll for the next school year will take an Entrance Exam on January 14, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. at Marquette. There will be a meeting for parents at 10 am and the test will be finished around 11:30 a.m.
Registration for incoming freshmen will take place on March 11, 2017. At this time you will sit down with a Academic Adviser and discuss where to place your student according to his/her scores and grade school information. Scholarship and Financial Aid applications will be available at registration as well as uniform fittings, spirit shop sales, and other information. Please contact me, Meg Miller at 618-463-0585 ext. 2 or email me at email@example.com for any additional information you might need. (If you do not use Outlook Express, please copy the e-mail address into your e-mail program).
I look forward to meeting with you and showing you the advantages of attending Marquette Catholic High School.
Marquette offer 7th and 8th graders a chance to come and “be an Explorer” for a day or a half of a day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best days for students to visit. Your student will arrive between 8:30 am and 8:45 am and come to the Advancement Office. They can wear something tasteful but no jeans please. We will get them signed in and give them a coupon for lunch. The student will ”shadow” a MCHS student in each of his/her classes and finish the day around 3:00 pm. This is great way to get a feel for the way things work at Marquette. Parents are welcome to take a tour the day of the shadow as well. Please call and we will give you the details on how to make a visit to MCHS. (Meg Miller 618-463-0585 Ext. 2 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
We look forward to meeting you. It is a great time to be an Explorer!
