Final Exam Schedule

posted Dec 13 2017 8:00 PM

To receive dress down passes for finals week, you must turn in your $5 gift card
to
Mrs. Mattix-Wand by this Friday, December 15th.

Final exam dates, times and reminders are below:

8:30-9:30 | 10:00-11:00 | 11:30-12:30

On Wednesday, at the conclusion of the last examination, the building will be locked at approximately 11:20 in order for the staff to celebrate the holidays.  No students may be in the building after 11:20!

Should we have a snow day during one of the scheduled finals, students will come to school the next day and follow the exact schedule for that day.  For example, if we are snowed out on Monday, students will come to school on Tuesday to take finals for periods 3, 6 and 5 and so on.  Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that students bring home all of the materials they will need to study for their finals on Friday the 15th.

There will be a half an hour between finals, and students may study in the cafeteria while waiting for their next exam.  Students need only be at school for their scheduled examinations, and are free to leave whenever they have finished their last final of the day.  No lunch is served, but students may bring a snack to eat during breaks; the vending machines are also available. The busses will run a regular morning schedule, and leave 15 minutes after the last exam.  If your student rides the bus and is finished with exams before the bus is scheduled to depart, they are free to either wait for the bus in the cafeteria or be picked up.  Students should be in uniform unless they have received a dress down pass. The names of students who are able to be out of uniform will be supplied to all teachers in advance of finals, but students will still have their physical pass.  In addition, students must have paid all fines and fees prior to exams.  Fines and fees are posted on the bulletin board outside of Mr. Baird’s office.  If there are outstanding fees, students must go to the business office for a pass before they will be allowed to take a final.  Please encourage your students to study and get a good night’s sleep as finals count for 20% of the final grade.  One last note, if your student is taking PE next semester and need a uniform, these may be purchased from Fischers Uniform.

Wishing each of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
