Marquette Students for Soldiers

Parents and Students of the Marquette Family,

Marquette’s Students for Soldiers would like to thank everyone for their donations last year for

the boxes we sent to our troops. We were able to send roughly 90 boxes of food, treats, and

toiletries to our Heroes. We are again asking for donations and supplies to be sent to our troops at

home and abroad. See the below list for ideas. All items to be sent must be individually

packaged/travel size. Anything above that size or specifically designated will be donated to the

USO for Christmas (see below the list).

Any brand of individually packaged cookies

Any brand of individually packaged brownies/Twinkies

Packaged Rice Krispy Treats

Small bags of chips/Chex mix (variety of chip bags or boxes with a variety)

Slim Jims–Regular size or mini

Peanut Butter Crackers/Cheese Crackers

Gold Fish–mini bags

Fruit snacks

Travel size shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, Kleenex

Granola Bars/Protein Bars

Hard Candy, Licorice


Dried fruits/raisins

Individually packaged nuts/trail mix

Any size bag of beef jerkey

Ramen noodles


This Christmas Season, Marquette’s Students for Soldiers will be holding our Annual USO drive.

If you would like to donate items specifically to the USO, see the following link for a list of

items they would like: https://www.usomissouri.org/wish-list/. When you send in these items,

please write USO on the bag/box. Additional information will be sent out around Thanksgiving

regarding the USO drive.

Please bring all donations to Mr. Serio’s Classroom (509).
