posted May 11 2016 8:05 AM
AP Government Teacher, Elizabeth DeCourcey, was selected among her peers to travel to Salt Lake City Utah June 2 - June 9 to be an AP Test grader. She will be working daily to grade the thousands of AP Government Exams and help to award college credit to deserving high school students.  The AP Government Exam consists of 45 multiple choice questions and 4 essays, which Ms. DeCourcey will help grade.  This is a great honor among AP Government teachers as very few are selected.
Beth DeCourcey is a 1993 graduate of Marquette HS.  She has a BS in History with a minor in Speech Communication from SIUE and also a Masters degree in Education Administration from SIUE.  She has been teaching at Marquette for 15 years and currently teaches AP Government, Senior American Government, Public Speaking, and Radio Broadcasting.  She is also the Cheerleading coach, Student Council Advisor, Prom Coordinator and Varsity Baseball Announcer.
